Dear Artists, Help us create a logo for Makers Market fundraising merch.
Submit proposed logo designs and the membership will vote on their
favorite selections to be printed on Makers Market tote bags.

The winning artists selection will receive a $50 gift certificate to use at the Makers Market.

We'd like image submissions that are easily reproduced on cloth with or without
the words 'East Hawai'i Makers Market'. (Text can always be added later)
We'd like for the original art logo image to imply, Puna, craft/farmers market, east Hawai'i,
local island style... that sort of thing, and be easily recognizable if someone walks by carrying a bag.
We don't really know what we need and hope to leave the creativity up to artists to surprise and inspire us.

Our fund raising intention is to print a hundred tote bags with the image selected by the Hui members
and when those are gone, to print another hundred bags with a different logo, different artist,
same gift certificate prize and make this an on going part of the Makers Market.

Timeline
Submission deadline will be March 15, then another 15 days for the Hui members to have a vote,
and after production times the tote bags may be available as early as the April 19 Makers Market,
but more likely at The May 17th. Market.

Please retain your original for possible future scanning. If selected the
artist will retain all rights to the image and we'll enter into an arts licensing agreement for use.
